September Adoration: Fraternal Communion as the "Sacrament of Christ".

In Jesus we know the merciful love of the Father, who comes to us not to reproach us for our faults, but to reach out to us and lift us out of our misery. The experience of this gratuitous love is at the root of our experience of faith. And it is this kind of love that the Christian community must cultivate. A profoundly fraternal community is thus a sacramental witness to the very being of God, who is a community of persons.
-O God, come to my aid.
- Lord, make haste to help me.
- Glory to the Father...
- As it was in the beginning...
Catholics around the world are all united, forming one body, one people born at Easter.
Members of Christ, redeemed in blood, Pilgrim Church of God!
The power of the Spirit that the Son sent from the Father lives in us.
He pushes us, guides us and encourages us, Pilgrim Church of God!
We are on earth the seed of another kingdom, we are a witness of love.
Peacemakers, light among the shadows, Pilgrim Church of God!

Psalm 122 Reflection
I rejoiced when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD.”
How the face of the God of Peace shines in the assembly!
Our fraternity is founded on this firm promise:
"Where two or more are gathered in my name, my Church lives and grows,
for I am in their midst" (Mt. 5:15).
Let us walk in the name of love, truth, freedom and justice.
Christ our Brother, precedes us by giving his life.
May your family and companionship be for you a sacred place,
the sacrament of a single hope towards the firmest embrace.
Ask, for fraternal encounter, authenticity in your searches and paths.
May the fruitful presence of the living God bless the gathered brothers and sisters!
Silence for Meditation
Reading. Vatican II. Gaudium et Spes #45.
While helping the world and receiving many benefits from it, the Church has a single intention: that God's kingdom may come, and that the salvation of the whole human race may come to pass. For every benefit which the People of God, during its earthly pilgrimage, can offer to the human family stems from the fact that the Church is "the universal sacrament of salvation", simultaneously manifesting and exercising the mystery of God's love.
Silence for Reflection.
Petitions.
- For the Church, for all Christians, that they may become aware that only together can we proclaim salvation....
- For the baptized who live the faith "alone", that they may be integrated into the community of their brothers and sisters...
- For us, that we may be unconditional members of the Christian community, living and collaborating with it....
Add your own petitions....
Our Father.
Closing Prayer:
God, our Father, You who called us to be members of the People of God as a believing, fraternal and committed community, send us your Spirit to gather us together in the unity of love. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
