Epiphany: God revealed in Jesus

At times it may seem like God is hiding. We know that He is the Light, but we feel the dark night; there is darkness in our souls and in the world. He is the Word, but his silence is disconcerting; we call to Him, He does not seem to respond. He is Presence, but we feel His absence. We seek him but we do not find Him.

Therefore, when God became flesh in Jesus, He gave the world Light, Word and Presence, so our lives could be fulfilled, overflowing with joy and happiness. EPIPHANY is a joyful day because on that day we celebrate God manifesting Himself in Jesus his Son, not only to the Magi of the past, but to the whole world today.

- O God, come to my aid.

- Make hast to help me.

- Glory be to the Father...

- As it was in the beginning...

Three Wise Men cross borders,

a star guides their paths.

Paths of love, paths of peace.

Christians, come,

come to the crib,

for God is born,

come and worship.

The people are invited to enter the temple to worship and praise the Lord because "He is our God and we are his people with whom He made a covenant.”

Come, let us acclaim the Lord,

let us cheer for the Rock that saves us;

Let us enter his presence thanking him,

cheering him to the sound of instruments.

For the Lord is a great God, ruler of all gods:

he has in his hand the tops of the mountains.

His is the sea, because He made it; the solid ground that his hands fashioned.

Come in, let us fall on the ground,

blessing the Lord, our Creator,

for He is our God, and we are His people, the flock that He leads.

Come, let us worship God.

Reading.

Like the Three Kings, believers must live in an attitude of constant seeking. A conformist, passive attitude is contrary to faith. You might ask yourself what new epiphany, what new word, what new presence from God you have received. You might ask yourself what new stars have appeared in your path and what answers you have given. You might ask yourself if you've grown in faith. You might ask yourself if you've received something beautiful from God. You might ask yourself if you have expressed it, shared it with others.
